Lesson 1 - The User Interface or Menu

In this first video you’ll get the lay of the land. Here’s some what we cover:

Creating a new canvas and working with canvas sizes.

The Gallery, where your artwork resides and where you make Stacks. See the video “How to Make a Stack.”

We’ll cover the first half of the menu bar including Actions, Selection, Adjustments and Transform tools.

Here’s your assignment for this lesson:

1. Create a simple shape and fill it with color.

2. Grab your selection tool and “cut out” a selection from the shape.

3. Transform the shape you’ve selected in at least 2 ways using the Transform Tool and the Adjustments Tool.
